LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie signing event at Disney Springs today
Fans in the sunshine state can get the new LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie set signed by the fan designer today.
There is nowhere better to celebrate the launch of the new Disney Mickey Mouse set, LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie (review), than Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Today, the set’s fan designer will meet eager LEGO and Disney fans to say hello and sign their sets. The LEGO Store at Disney Springs will play host to Máté “szabomate90” Szabó from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.
Fans in Europe will be keen to know that he will also be at the LEGO Store Disneyland Paris on April 6, from 10am until 1.00pm.
Using 751 pieces, including special printed elements, the set that is inspired by the black and white Steamboat Willie short will be released on April 1. It includes two specially decorated minifigures – Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse – who were introduced in the short for the very first time. The set will be available exclusively at shop.LEGO.com.
The LEGO Ideas team recently explained why the two minifigures in the new model got a touch of silver.
