LEGO DC Super Heroes Batman vs. Harley Quinn book available to pre-order now

Pre-orders are now open for one of the first confirmed LEGO DC Super Heroes products for 2023, a new book titled Batman vs. Harley Quinn.

If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because last year’s only brand new LEGO DC set (the three The Batman sets technically launched in October 2021 in the US) was 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn. Lo and behold, both of the minifigures in that 4+ set are replicated in Batman vs. Harley Quinn, a brand new book that’s now available to pre-order at Amazon.

The hardcover case actually includes two separate interactive activity books for kids to play through, alongside a ‘3D double-sided gatefold panorama’ scene that acts as a backdrop for the two included minifigures. It’s due to hit shelves on September 19, 2023, and is currently priced at £17.59 on Amazon.

That’s almost 50% higher than the RRP of 76220 Batman versus Harley Quinn, so if you’re only gunning for the two included minifigures, you’re basically better off buying the set instead. But these books never seem to stay full price for long, so one day it might become a better option for bagging the two characters.

Until then, LEGO Batman is rumoured to be making a proper comeback this summer, across multiple playsets and an enormous direct-to-consumer Batcave.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
