LEGO Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin references another set from the theme
LEGO Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin features a ton of cute details – and one miniature reference to another LEGO Ideas set.
As LEGO Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin is officially revealed, peeking inside reveals a small kitchen, a cosy living space, and a double bed tucked away in the attic space. It’s cosy enough that it certainly looks like the ideal place to write, with only squirrels, birds, and butterflies for company.
One minifigure has clearly been doing just that, as there’s a tiny typewriter in place on a desk at the rear of the cabin. This piece refers to another set within the LEGO Ideas theme: 21327 Typewriter. While the element itself is black, it’s perched on a desk that’s the exact same shade of green as the brick-built typewriter.
The minifigure has been putting his typewriter to good use by the looks of it, with a newspaper to the left of it and a warm pot of tea on the go. The typewriter is the only LEGO Ideas reference that we’ve spotted so far, although the guitar on the wall could also link to 21329 Fender Stratocaster.
The majority of other LEGO Ideas sets wouldn’t quite fit with the cabin aesthetic. We can’t quite imagine a table football tucked away in the corner, or the International Space Station for that matter.
LEGO Ideas 21338 will go on sale from February 1, 2023, selling at £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99. Keep an eye out for our in-depth review coming soon, where we’ll dig into our favourite parts of this set in more detail.
