Brick-built LEGO Ideas coffee shop gains 10,000 supporters

The first LEGO Ideas review round for 2023 has welcomed a brick-built coffee shop, after the model managed to gain 10,000 supporters

It seems that a day can’t go by without yet another fan-made creation managing to successfully make its way into the first LEGO Ideas 2023 review round. The latest addition to the ever-expanding line-up of models battling it out for a place in that list is Bricks Coffee, the brainchild of UTAMARU_BRICK8.

At first glance the two-storey build may seem reminiscent of similar LEGO Modular Building Collection sets, but the designer has attempted to put his own spin on the model. UTAMARU_BRICK8 states that the ivy-covered building was created with a desire to make a coffee shop set where minifigures could spend a relaxing time in the city and that certainly seems to be what’s they’ve managed to achieve.

Bricks Coffee features a detailed exterior with seating area, multiple awnings and a staircase to the first floor, whilst the interior boasts a newspaper rack and bookshelf for browsing, an espresso machine and numerous minifigures. The roof includes a waterfall and grapevine area, allowing customers to sip their morning cuppas surrounded by nature.

Bricks Coffee follows hot on the heels of LED Lamp and Shrek’s Swamp, the latter being the second such creation in the first LEGO Ideas review round for 2023 to feature the green ogre.
