LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar rumoured details

Following the first LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar, rumours for a second are reporting to detail the minifigures and models included behind the doors.

Later this year, the Guardians of the Galaxy will return in a holiday special. Rumours suggest that to time with this, the LEGO Group will release a LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar themed to the superhero team’s special.

Now, Promobricks is reporting to have details on the contents of this rumoured advent calendar. While these reports are still completely unconfirmed by the LEGO Group, you might want to take this as a spoiler warning just in case.

According to the source, almost all of the Guardians of the Galaxy will be included as minifigures in the 2022 advent calendar, said to be named 76231 Marvel Advent Calendar. Featured members (at least) include Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, Mantis, Drax and Nebula with Drax wearing a jumper with an image of Baby Groot dancing in a flower pot wearing a Santa hat and Nebula wearing a jumper with Thanos’ face.

The source also mentions that some minifigures resemble their version in 76193 The Guardians’ Ship.

In terms of builds, the rumoured contents include a tape recorder, a tile with the Awesome Mix Volume 1 and 2, various gifts, tables with cups, bottles, cupcakes and turkey a snowman with Thanos’ golden armour, the Benatar, the Milano, a blue guitar, a candy cane, a flamethrower and a Christmas tree accessory for Groot.

The rumour states that the second LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar should cost €34.99 for 268 pieces, though this has yet to be officially confirmed and should be taken with caution.
