Four brand new LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets out now, including 501st and TIE Bomber

A quartet of brand new LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets are now available to order at LEGO.com, including 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack and 75347 TIE Bomber.

It’s a relatively slow start to the year for the LEGO Star Wars theme, mirroring January 2022 with three regular sets and one BrickHeadz character. More sets will presumably follow in March, as the LEGO Group continues to split its winter waves across multiple release windows. But that’s all the better for us, as we can now justify picking up this entire mini-wave in one go.

Headlining the LEGO Star Wars sets available from today is 75347 TIE Bomber, the first minifigure-scale rendition of this fan-favourite vehicle in two decades. We’ve already given our verdict on the 625-piece model, declaring it ‘nearly the perfect LEGO Star Wars set’, which comes complete with four brand new minifigures for £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99.

Also out now are 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter – the cheapest way to get nu-Boba yet – and 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, a set that pivots away from new clone legions to expand an existing one with three brand new classes. 40615 Tusken Raider then rounds out the new LEGO Star Wars 2023 sets for January, offering a BrickHeadz take on one of Tatooine’s peskiest denizens.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
