LEGO Star Wars build takes a peek behind the scenes
A custom LEGO Star Wars build offers a behind-the-scenes look at some beloved characters.
u/DifficultBoat148 took to Reddit to share their display of various Star Wars characters in minifigure form. While this in itself isn’t too unusual, the Reddit user wasn’t sharing a Star Wars scene, but rather a representation of what it could be like to film on some of the most recent Star Wars show.
“Aaand that’s it guys. Wrap it up. We’re done for today. Great work everybody!” reads the caption of the post.
The design shows Ahsoka, Anakin, and Obi-Wan switching out their on-screen heads for their ‘real-life’ headpieces. Instead of Obi-Wan’s slicked hair, the minifigure switches it out for a Ewan McGregor-style hairdo.
Even more hilariously, you can also spot R2-D2 in the background, sporting a human head. This looks to be a representation of Kenny Baker, who was inside the practical droid prop throughout the original trilogy and sporadically in the prequel trilogy.
The green plates for the floor and walls create the effect of a green screen, adding to the ‘on set’ atmosphere of the build. All in all, a clever and well-executed build.
