Every LEGO Star Wars set confirmed and rumoured for 2023 – December update

With the first rumours of the LEGO Star Wars summer 2023 sets doing the rounds, we’re starting to get a clearer picture of the entire year ahead for the evergreen licensed theme.

Only four LEGO Star Wars sets are confirmed for 2023 so far, all of which will be available to purchase from January 1. But rumours for much of the rest of the year are already circling, giving us an idea of what to expect all the way through August – from new helmets and dioramas to at least one new Ultimate Collector Series set.

Qualifying threshold: TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2023

Little is known about next year’s May the Fourth promo beyond its rumoured product number, but we’re hoping the LEGO Star Wars team will follow up 2022’s 40531 Lars Family Homestead Kitchen with another vignette and a brand new character. It’s much more substantial than just a minifigure polybag, after all…

40615 Tusken Raider

Price: £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 152 Release date: January 1, 2023

The first LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz set for 2023 recreates one of Tatooine’s best-known denizens in 40615 Tusken Raider. It’s an effective translation of the character into the BrickHeadz standard, and should make for an easy impulse purchase for those who have already bought into this theme of buildable statuettes.

40623 [Endor BrickHeadz pack]

Price: $39.99 / €39.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: TBC 2023

2023’s second LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz set is said to celebrate Return of the Jedi’s 40th anniversary, bundling together five different characters: Luke Skywalker in his black Jedi robes; Lando Calrissian in his general outfit; Princess Leia in her camo clothing; Wicket the Ewok and R2-D2.

75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter

Price: £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99 Pieces: 85 Release date: January 1, 2023

Rounding out the longlist of Slave I sets at every imaginable scale, 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter brings the bounty hunter’s ship into the Microfighter fold based on its appearance in The Book of Boba Fett. That means it also includes the same Boba Fett minifigure we’ve seen in 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship and 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room (minus his rangefinder).

75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack

Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 119 Release date: January 1, 2023

The latest LEGO Star Wars battle pack represents a change in direction for the theme, expanding on an existing Clone Trooper legion rather than introducing a new one. There are three new classes of soldier in 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, all based on the blue-tinted troopers from EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront II video game.

75346 Pirate Snubfighter

Price: €34.99 Pieces: 285 Release date: May 2023

This small ship is one of two sets said to be based on The Mandalorian Season 3, and may or may not look a little something like this custom build, which was designed using AI-enhanced footage from the Star Wars show’s trailer. There’s a good chance the final set name will be something completely different – snubfighter just refers generically to a small starfighter – but it should bring us a brand new vehicle. 

75347 TIE Bomber

Price: £59.99 / $64.99 / €64.99 Pieces: 625 Release date: January 1, 2023

LEGO Star Wars is off to a strong start in 2023 with 75347 TIE Bomber, the first minifigure-scale ship of its kind since 2003’s 4479 TIE Bomber. 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor

Price: €99.99 Pieces: 957 Release date: May 2023

Also thought to be based on The Mandalorian Season 3, this set – as imagined in the concept above by redditor Catapimbson – will reportedly combine two warring LEGO Star Wars ships in a single box for the first time in several years. One of those will also apparently be our first TIE Interceptor since 2006, as the LEGO Group continues to expand its Imperial navy beyond regular TIE Fighters.

75349 Captain Rex (Phase II) Helmet

Price: €69.99 Pieces: 854 Release date: March 2023

At least two new additions to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection are said to be coming in 2023, and they’re drawing on prequel trilogy characters for the first time with two much-loved Clone Troopers. The first of those is rumoured to be Captain Rex’s Phase II helmet, keying into the wider popularity of the 501st Legion. Surely a Captain Rex minifigure can’t be too far behind?

75350 Commander Cody (Phase I) Helmet

Price: €69.99 Pieces: 766 Release date: March 2023

The second LEGO Star Wars helmet for 2023 will reportedly turn to another fan-favourite character in Commander Cody, but will distinguish itself from Captain Rex by delivering the orange-tinted trooper’s Phase I helmet. While they might not match on your shelf, they should at least offer very different builds – does anyone really want two different colourways of the same helmet?

75352 Death Star Throne Room Diorama

Price: €99.99 Pieces: 807 Release date: May 2023

One of potentially three new LEGO Star Wars dioramas rumoured for next year, 75352 Death Star Throne Room Diorama will apparently revisit well-trodden ground from the climax of Return of the Jedi. We’ve had a couple of playsets of this scene in recent years, but it could look very different as an 18+ diorama – and it makes perfect sense for the movie’s 40th anniversary.

75353 Endor Speeder Bike Chase Diorama

Price: €79.99 Pieces: 608 Release date: May 2023

Another Return of the Jedi diorama said to be on the way in 2023, this set will reportedly capture the frenetic speeder bike chase through the forests of Endor – and there are plenty of ways the LEGO Group could really make this a Star Wars set to remember. A third diorama is apparently also in the works, depicting Jabba’s Palace, but we’re still waiting on a specific set number for that one. (There are several free slots in the current list.)

75355 [UCS]

Price: €239.99 Pieces: TBC Release date: May 2023

2023’s first Ultimate Collector Series model will apparently fall in line with 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder in terms of pricing, so expect a suitably-sized set for May the 4th. There’s no firm word yet on what it could be, though some sources are suggesting a buildable Chewbacca. Based on the response to 76215 Black Panther, fingers crossed the LEGO Group has something else up its sleeve…

75366 Star Wars Advent Calendar

Price: $44.99 Pieces: 320 Release date: TBC 2023

There are no details as of yet on next year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar, beyond the fact it exists (no prizes for guessing that one) and that it will apparently contain 320 pieces. That’s nine fewer pieces than 2022’s 75340 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, so it’s not difficult to believe.

75371 [18+]

Price: $199.99 Pieces: 2,320 Release date: Summer 2023

A second large LEGO Star Wars set is said to be coming in the summer, though it’s not yet clear whether it will be 2023’s second UCS model. It could be that it will sit beyond the usual release schedule for the theme as a third UCS set, or it may not be a UCS set at all (and could just be an 18+ set within a new subtheme). The possibilities are endless at this stage…
