40658 [Holiday Special Diorama]

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €TBC Pieces: TBC Release date: TBC

Rumoured to be the first Star Wars sequel trilogy set since The Rise of Skywalker left cinemas, this mysterious diorama is said to include Rey, Finn, Chewbacca and BB-8. It’s not yet known whether it will be based on the previous LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special or a new animated special, but its set number suggests it could be either a gift-with-purchase or a VIP Rewards Centre exclusive set.

75354 Republic Gunship

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €149.99 Pieces: 1,083 Release date: September 1, 2023

Image: Mod DB

The first minifigure-scale LEGO Republic Gunship since 2013 is said to be on the way in September – but it apparently won’t turn out quite the way you’d expect. Instead of being yet another gleaming white gunship, 75354 Republic Gunship is rumoured to be mostly dark red, inspired by the Coruscant Guard variant seen in The Clone Wars. The minifigure line-up is expected to consist of Chancellor Palpatine, Padmé Amidala, two Coruscant Guard Clone Troopers and Clone Commander Fox.

75357 The Ghost

Price: £TBC / $TBC / €169.99 Pieces: 1,394 Release date: September 1, 2023

Another redesign several years in the making, 75357 The Ghost is thought to be an update to the Star Wars Rebels ship for the upcoming Star Wars: Ahsoka Disney+ series. There’s no word yet on whether it will include The Phantom, but it will apparently include 465 more pieces than the 2014 set, so it’s not off the table. The set is at least rumoured to include minifigures of Hera Syndulla, Jacen Syndulla, Quarrie and a mystery fifth character.

75359 Republic Swamp Speeder

Price: £TBC / $26.99 / €TBC Pieces: 108 Release date: August 1, 2023

Remember when Captain Vaughn and the 332nd Company got down and dirty in Star Wars’ swampy biomes? Us neither, but according to the LEGO Group it happened at some stage – at least if current rumours are to be believed. 75359 Republic Swamp Speeder is said to be a proto-battle pack, packing in Captain Vaughn and three 332nd Company Clone Troopers, which were last seen in 75283 Armored Assault Tank (AAT).

75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter

Price: £TBC / $34.99 / €TBC Pieces: 253 Release date: August 1, 2023

One day the LEGO Group might let a couple of years go by without a new Jedi Starfighter, but that day will seemingly not come in 2023. This summer’s LEGO Star Wars line-up is rumoured to include 75360 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter, which will presumably be a remake of 2017’s 75168 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter. That set included 262 pieces, so we’re not expecting much different here – except a $10 increase in price…

75362 Ahsoka’s T-6 Shuttle

Price: £TBC / $69.99 / €TBC Pieces: 599 Release date: September 1, 2023

One of three LEGO Star Wars sets supposedly on the way for the Ahsoka TV series, 75362 Ahsoka’s T-6 Shuttle is likely to revisit the same subject matter as 2011’s 7931 T-6 Jedi Shuttle. We’ve already glimpsed the ship in the first trailer for the new series, adding further fuel to the fire. And the minifigure line-up sounds pretty lit too, featuring Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Huyang (the droid who teaches younglings to build lightsabers) and an Inquisitor with double-bladed lightsaber.

75364 [Ahsoka]

Price: £TBC / $99.99 / €104.99 Pieces: 1,056 Release date: September 1, 2023

Very little is known about this mysterious Star Wars: Ahsoka set beyond it being ‘a spaceship’ (that narrows it down), but the minifigure line-up sounds like it’ll sell the set all on its own. According to Promobricks and redditor FluffySky6, 75364 will include new dark-siders Baylon and Shin, alongside a dark blue astromech droid, a pilot in a blue flight suit and Morgan Elsbeth, who originally debuted in The Mandalorian.

75365 Yavin IV Rebel Base

Price: £TBC / $159.99 / €TBC Pieces: 1,067 Release date: August 1, 2023

Years after a sketch model (above) originally appeared in the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary, the LEGO Group is said to be finally bringing A New Hope’s rebel base to life in bricks in 2023. 75365 Yavin IV Rebel Base will reportedly include a hangar, observation tower, ceremony room, a further unknown room, and a small (potentially Microfighter-sized) Y-wing, alongside 15 minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, General Crix Madine, three rebel troopers, three rebel pilots and a ground crew member.

75366 Star Wars Advent Calendar

Price: £TBC / $44.99 / €TBC Pieces: 320 Release date: TBC 2023

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a LEGO Star Wars advent calendar, would it? This year’s seasonal extravaganza is said to be 75366 Star Wars Advent Calendar, and the current minifigure line-up includes a 212th Clone Trooper, an Ewok, a Battle Droid (obvs) and Omega from Star Wars: The Bad Batch – who is so far otherwise exclusive to 75323 The Justifier.

75367 Venator Star Destroyer

Price: £TBC / $649.99 / €TBC Pieces: 5,374 Release date: October 1, 2023

The second Ultimate Collector Series set launching in 2023 (after 75355 X-wing Starfighter) is rumoured to return to the prequel trilogy, bringing us our first Venator since 2009’s 8039 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser. Expect something to rival the scale and scope of the recently-retired 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, with minifigures of Phase II Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen in the box.

75368 Darth Vader Mech

Price: £TBC / $15.99 / €TBC Pieces: 139 Release date: August 1, 2023

If every other theme can have mechs, then why not LEGO Star Wars? So read the contents of an email from the LEGO Star Wars design team to the company’s execs sometime in the past couple of years (we imagine), and here we are, with three mini mechs apparently on the way this summer. The first of those is said to revolve around Darth Vader, offering yet another way to get your hands on the Sith Lord.

75369 Boba Fett Mech

Price: £TBC / $15.99 / €TBC Pieces: 155 Release date: TBC 2023

The second LEGO Star Wars 2023 mech is rumoured to be based on the original trilogy version of Boba Fett, marking the first time that minifigure variant will be available in a set for a good while. If you’d rather have the Mandalorian/Book of Boba Fett version, you’ll still find it in 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room and 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter.

75370 Stormtrooper Mech

Price: £TBC / $15.99 / €TBC Pieces: 138 Release date: August 1, 2023

The third and final mech in this trio will apparently offer a cheap way to build your LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper army (at least if you only buy your LEGO brand new off the shelf, because individual Stormies are surely cheaper through BrickLink). We don’t know what these mechs will look like – if they exist at all – but fingers crossed any subsequent sets delve a bit deeper into rare and obscure characters.

75371 Chewbacca

Price: £TBC / $199.99 / €TBC Pieces: 2,320 Release date: September 1, 2023

Did you enjoy last year’s 76215 Black Panther? If so, you might also enjoy the rumoured 75371 Chewbacca, which is said to be a buildable version of the galaxy’s most infamous Wookiee. At 2,320 pieces, we’re not expecting a full-body build here – a bust similar to T’Challa’s is probably more realistic, but you never know. Either way, the texture of his fur should be pretty interesting to put together.

If any or all of these sets sound exciting to you, now’s a great time to catch up on the rest of your LEGO Star Wars wish list (before it gets even longer). The LEGO Group is giving away multiple freebies through May 7, alongside double VIP points on all LEGO Star Wars sets, while other retailers have also slashed prices on sets from a galaxy far, far away.

Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
