LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 sets officially revealed

The LEGO Group has unveiled two new sets tying into Season 3 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, including a brand new ship – and one that’s a little more familiar.

The continued adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu are currently airing weekly on Disney+, with the second episode – Chapter 18 overall – due to debut on the streaming platform tomorrow, March 8. Before then, the LEGO Group has revealed two new LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian sets coming our way later this year. One is due to arrive in May, while the other will land on shelves in August.

Surprisingly, only one of these sets includes Mando himself, while they’re both very affordable models for the LEGO Star Wars range. You can find out more details about both new sets below.

75346 Pirate Snub Fighter

Price: £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 Pieces: 285 Minifigures: 2 Release date: May 5, 2023

Recreating a ship first glimpsed in the opening chapter of The Mandalorian Season 3, 75346 Pirate Snub Fighter is a brand new design for the LEGO Star Wars theme – and, happily, comes in at a reasonable price tag. Both of its minifigures are brand new, depicting the pirates who threatened to turn Greef Karga’s school on Nevarro into a bar.

It should pair very nicely with 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter when it launches on May 5, so now’s the perfect time to catch up on that set if you haven’t picked it up already.

75363 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter Microfighter

Price: £12.99 / $15.99 / €15.99 Pieces: 88 Minifigures: 2 Release date: August 1, 2023

Offering a more compact (and therefore more accessible) version of Mando’s new hot rod than 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, 75363 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter Microfighter boils the essence of the reclaimed Naboo ship down into 88 pieces. It’s the second Microfighter for 2023 (following 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter), and the first in the chibi range to include two minifigures.

Those are – naturally – Din Djarin and Grogu. It looks to be the same old Baby Yoda, but Mando’s helmet uses the same print as in 75331 The Razor Crest, only on a metallic silver piece (rather than gunmetal grey). The LEGO Group knows exactly what it’s doing with that minifigure here. Unfortunately, the bonus minifigure and new helmet seem to have had an adverse effect on the set’s price, which is higher than any Microfighter before it.

These aren’t the only LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 sets said to be on the way in 2023. 75348 Mandalorian Fang Fighter vs. TIE Interceptor is also thought to be launching in May, but we don’t have confirmation of that one just yet.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
