Building a double-height LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle
Builders without the money or time to combine multiple copies of LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle don’t need to imagine the result as all has been revealed.
LEGO YouTuber JANGBRiCKS has acquired two copies of 76178 Daily Bugle for a future project, but before modifying the model to fit his desires, the sets have been put together, revealing just how tall this tower can be.
Two of LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle would set builders back £549.98 / $599.98 / €599.98 but it turns out that combining them gives you not one, but two buildings. The taller of the two is likely the most interesting to builders and soars high above where it would usually reach.
Doubling the height means doubling many other aspects of the set, with two wrap-around TV screens now adorning the lower portion of the Daily Bugle and a pair of Spider-Mobiles racing up the tower – we can’t imagine J. Jonah Jameson is too happy about that.
As well as the larger building, a shorter Daily Bugle lobby is also left aside, this could perhaps be turned into a newspaper-specific shop or external waiting area in your LEGO City. Notably, the Green Goblin can’t be seen attacking the tower in the YouTuber’s interpretation of the set meaning that the windows have been fixed using only pieces provided and making for a neater skyscraper model.
LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle is available now on the official online store for £274.99 / $299.99 / €299.99 and builders just wanting one of the set can look forward to the 25 included minifigures, though there was once much more.
