Australia LEGO deals reveal lucrative double points event

Australia is offering a preview of what to expect in the upcoming LEGO Insiders double points event, including a free Pirates GWP.

The Australian official online store has started its LEGO Insiders double points event, starting October 10 in the UK / US / Europe as the advanced time zone may have revealed an extra gift to time with the event worldwide.

40597 Scary Pirate Island is available with orders of $170 in the region and usually, major deals apply across territories, so other regions may see the LEGO Pirates deal offered in their country tomorrow.

A Thai LEGO Certified Store previously reported that the model would be available with qualifying purchases from October 13 to 22. However, the official online store appears to be offering 40597 Pirate Island a few days earlier – from October 10 to 22.

As well as 40597 Scary Pirate Island, 40608 Halloween Fun Add-on Pack is currently available with orders of £45 / $50 / €50 made by LEGO Insiders until October 12. Some quick testing on the Australian online store reveals that the gifts-with-purchase stack.

Provided that the region is offering a preview of what to expect tomorrow, this double points event should be more lucrative than expected worldwide.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
