LEGO Marvel Super Heroes coming soon to Nintendo Switch

Fan-favourite LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch.

First released in 2013, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has been available to play on pretty much every other gaming platform you can think of. Come this autumn, the rumours are true that it will now finally be playable on the Switch.

The gameplay seems to be similar to the version from previous releases for different consoles. For those who aren’t familiar, you will be able to unlock over 100 different Marvel characters to play through an original story, battling various iconic villains in locations from around the Marvel Universe.

Launching on October 8, 2021 (although some official Twitter accounts are advertising a different launch date of October 5), the release will also include two existing DLCs, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Super Pack and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Asgard Pack. If you can’t wait until then and own a different gaming platform, it’s already available now on Xbox One, PlayStation4 and Windows PC.

You can also hear more about the behind-the-scenes of making the game in the latest Bits N’ Bricks episode, where hosts Ethan Vincent and Brian Crecente spend the entire episode delving into the history of the game and offer some insights to Easter Eggs you can spot throughout.
