Sean Kenney to take LEGO exhibitions worldwide

LEGO Certified Professional Sean Kenney is collaborating with Imagine Exhibitions to bring his LEGO exhibitions to fans around the world.

The US based LEGO Certified Professional Sean Kenney is going beyond North America to bring his exhibits around the world in a collaboration with Imagine Exhibitions. The deal will see the exhibitions company bring indoor and outdoor experiences to international venues over the next decade.

Currently, Art with EGO Bricks and Nature POP! are touring the USA. Here are the official exhibit descriptions:

“Art with LEGO Bricks” and its supporting materials offer STEAM and natural history content related to art, innovation, science, nature and more. The exhibition inspires visitors of all ages to create, innovate, and think about the interconnectedness of our natural world. Further, the exhibition seeks to raise awareness about biodiversity and endangered species in both the animal and plant worlds.

“Nature POP!” utilizes the bright, saturated color palette of LEGO bricks to create highly stylized, colorful silhouettes of natural forms that “POP” out of their surroundings. Just as LEGO pieces interconnect, everything in nature is interconnected in a delicate balance. Insects, plants, and animals have important relationships with one another. “Nature POP!” brings these relationships to life through sculpture, allowing visitors to appreciate the artistry of Kenney’s work in conjunction with the the beauty of the surrounding natural world.

“We’re looking forward to working more closely with Sean to help spread his creative vision around the world,” said Tom Zaller, CEO of Imagine Exhibitions. “We’re especially excited to have indoor and outdoor versions of the exhibitions to offer to host venues across the globe.”

“The agreement with Imagine Exhibitions allows me to focus on creating new shows that will inspire people of all ages,” said Kenney. “I know my work is in great hands with Tom and his team. Together we’ll educate, entertain and enlighten millions of people around the world.”

More information is promised in due course, with locations for future exhibitions likely to be announced in 2019.
