LEGO Marvel Avengers level packs & DLC now available

Enjoying LEGO Marvel Avengers bur wanting more, well rumors are circulating that there are two pending Season Pass Level Packs. Screen shots doing the rounds on social media reveal they’ve been named for now Masters of Evil Pack and the Captain Marvel Pack.

Before I continue to discuss the potential level packs there two additional free DLC packs that have just been released and can be downloaded from the Xbox and PS stores,  If you’re already purchased the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Season Pass these  will be free to download.

The two packs are called Thunderbolts Character Pack and Avengers Adventurers Character Pack priced at £1.69 and 79p respectively, here are the line ups:

Thunderbolts Pack will include:

• Citizen V
• Atlas
• Mach 5
• Songbird
• Meteorite
• Techno
• Jolt

Avengers Adventurers Pack will include:

• Space Captain America
• Scuba Captain America
• Hyperion.

So back to the level packs we don’t have any official word as to their actual contents and what they will offer but with two new Marvel movies this year coming it would not be surprising if the levels were some how linked to these.

We know both packs will being more characters and new content as well as more Trophies/Achievements to earn (PS4 players). Both will be will be available individually or if you’ve already purchased the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Season Pass you can download them at no extra charge.

Speaking of packs who has the limited edition DLC (downloadable content) , one based on the upcoming Captain America: Civil War and the other based on the Ant-Man? Both packs were/will be available for free, for a limited time, exclusively on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

The first packs if you remember were available on launch day, the Civil War DLC pack doesn’t contain any new levels, in the interest avoiding spoilers for the film (hence my thinking that one of the new level packs might). Instead, the pack only features nine playable characters:

• Agent 13
• Black Panther
• Captain America
• Crossbones
• Falcon
• Iron Man (MK 46)
• Scarlet Witch
• War Machine
• Winter Soldier

The Ant-Man DLC pack isn’t scheduled to be released until later in the spring, but the pack will be more substantial than its predecessor. In addition to more playable characters, the pack will feature a new level from the film – most likely with an emphasis on the characters’ shrinking mechanic.  The characters included are:

• Ant-Man (Scott Lang)
• Yellowjacket
• Hope Van Dyne
• Hank Pym
• Cassie Lang
• Scott Lang
• Darren Cross
• Luis
• Ant-Man (Hank Pym)
• The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne)
• Ant-Thony
