Get a closer look at LEGO Dreamzzz characters

A German TV guide has offered a closer look at some of the original LEGO Dreamzzz characters.

Information about the upcoming LEGO Dreamzzz theme and accompanying TV show has been slowly trickling through, with our first look at the characters coming just a few weeks ago, closely followed by brief episode descriptions. Now, thanks to Prisma.de, we can get a closer look at main characters Mateo, Izzie, Z-Blob, and more.

There’s not a lot of detail accompanying the images, but the detail on the minifigure designs is impressive. There’s also some suggestion of what we can expect to see, with a lot of hourglass imagery and the backdrops seeming to depict vastly different landscapes, perhaps suggesting elements of time/space travel – particularly as a portal of some kind can be spotted behind Mateo in the third image.

This aligns with the episode descriptions we’ve seen so far, which sees Mateo and his friends journey into the Dream Forge to become official Dream Chasers. Presumably, the colourful worlds we can see in these stills are depictions of different dreamscapes that they need to explore to return Z-Blob to his original home.

Based on previous reports, LEGO Dreamzzz could be premiering as soon as May 19, 2023, though this is yet to be officially confirmed. However, this isn’t far off the countdown currently live on LEGO.com, currently due to end on May 16, 2023.
