Katy Perry takes part in LEGO’s Build To Give initiative

Katy Perry teams up with the LEGO Group to encourage people to take part in the company’s #BuildToGive campaign for the holidays.

The LEGO Group has shared a video of Katy Perry talking all things Christmas presents, while building a brick-built box of her own.

“When you’re a new mom and you get to celebrate Christmas with your child, you see Christmas again,” Katy says. “It’s like the first time, in their eyes, and it’s just so bright and sparkly and they’re so excited to open a present. It’s so beautiful!”

Katy had her first child with actor Orlando Bloom in August of 2020, so has now had two Christmases in her own small family.

Celebrating Christmas of 2022, Katy Perry was tasked with buildig her own LEGO gift box to help launch the LEGO Group’s festive Build To Give campaign. You can take part yourself and for every box you build and share on social media, the LEGO Group will donate bricks to children in need of play.

In the video, Katy remembers weird past presents that she’s given her loved ones, concluding by encouraging everyone watching to get involved in the Build To Give Campaign.
