LEGO House Christmas dinner 2022 tickets on sale now

Tickets for the LEGO House’s annual Xmas event are now on sale, offering the opportunity to get festive with a traditional Danish Christmas dinner.

Taking place on December 9, 2022 in Billund, Denmark, this year’s Christmas event will once again include after-hours access to the LEGO House’s Experience Zones, ‘exciting input from the LEGO Group’ and a culturally-appropriate festive feast. According to Scandification, typical Danish dishes at Xmas include Ableskiver (pancake balls), Flæskesteg (roast pork) and Rodkal (red cabbage). Feeling peckish yet?

If so, you can grab your ticket over at the LEGO House website, where a single ticket is priced at DKK 499, or roughly £59. The entire event will last five hours, from 4pm to 9pm local time, and availability is limited – so if you’re interested in making the trip to Billund and taking part, best start making plans as soon as possible.

The LEGO House team also promises there’ll be time for ‘networking’ with other adult fans of LEGO, which will presumably be while enjoying the ‘delicious food and strong alcohol’ that’s standard for any Danish Julefrokost menu. Christmas dinner at the LEGO House has been an annual tradition for at least three years now, so don’t worry too much if you miss out this time: you’ll (hopefully) have another chance to attend in 2023.

You can also just roll up and visit the LEGO House any time you like, of course – and if you’re heading there within the next couple of weeks, you’ll catch its 90 Years of Play celebration, which features ‘memorable moments’ from across the company’s nine decades of history on a huge rotating LEGO cake.
